Here's a couple of old and new quotes by me that I think merit rememberance (it's all for fun):
While doing software development in the video games industry...
"You have to save before you crash" [ in response to someone who lost their work while their computer went to big doodoo land]
"If a bug is rare enough, it is not a bug, it is bad luck"
New one that is a variant of the above:
"If a bug is rare enough and allows you to get to a special level, new gadgets or powerups, it is not a bug, it is an unlockable secret."
While in the "traditional" software industry:
"Money doesn't buy you happinness but when money goes away, it takes happinness along with it."
