I went out last night, yes, it's coming up, but I have much to write. I was able to get some photographs, but in short, my goal of taking no more than 3 snapshots... umm let's say I took a lot of them but could identify them as such. Some got instantly deleted, some now.
What *really* bugs me is about 5 photographs that were good, but were ruined by the focus I had. A couple of issues here:
* If my teacher doesn't want me to use the camera autofocus one bit, I am in trouble. I am going to have to practice hard to get this right. The lens/viewfinder makes it very challenging to get this right. I am starting to appreciate a bigger viewfinder.. oh wait.. I am blaming the equipment- BIG NO NO. I need to work around this...
* I will use my tripod the next time, I was using my monopod.
* This is easily the night I had the most interaction with people in Hollywood boulevard and there's much to tell. I met Gerard (French-American/Limousine driver/photographer), three russian girls which had one of the best reactions I have ever seen to me taking their pictures (more on this later), a guy that I had seen before that turns out to be a 19-year old guy from Texas who is homeless (this made me very sad, as is as I was leaving). More on all of this later!
I need to get out to finish one outstanding homework and I want to talk more about my experience in doing out last night. I also want to go out tonight yet again, so expect a #6.
