I'm really not a big moviegoer either. I tend to miss these things until years and years later when I remember to pick up the DVD. I didn't see Fight Club, now one of my favorite films, until 2003. And I didn't even see the original three Star Wars movies until they were re-released. (Which may be why I don't really have a problem with the new movies.)

I'm sure there's a whole bunch more huge movies I've missed. Of the ones you listed, I've only seen Starship Troopers (another fine movie, I might add).

Yes, I did like StarShip Troopers - I haven't seen the 2nd one because I heard it was crap, but then if it's the same director it can't be that bad. But then I don't know either way :-)

Funniest irony was the director comments on the DVD... talking about the backstory of the movie with one of the actors - and how that world mirrors "American policy in the next years..." He was right.

You've not seen Pulp Fiction???

Further, you saw a turd like Starship Troopers over Pulp Fiction???

Oh hey now. Starship Troopers was pretty good. I think made quite a few strong points beneath the "Friends in Space" cast....
