DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY - My ex...

Well, one of them. I am taking some photos for him for hiring/promotion purposes. I see that I need to try darker shots, as in the ones I took it looks like "high key" photography (where most tones are white). I made him look like an angel I guess.

Well yes, to me he looks angelical in a way. What can I say.

I have to say I am very happy that I have kept in touch and as friends with all my exes. Chris was the last one to re-conciliate but we are having fun now (no, not *that* kind of "fun"). It's great that I get to photograph someone with acting/modeling experience as I am learning more about that area of the business... and I see I can hold my own when I have looked at what is being done.

PS: to those wondering if it's ok to post pictures from a working actor, etc. I want to make clear I got clearance for him to post them. I can only imagine there can be reasons him or his agents may not want them posted. It's all good.

In the 2nd shot I just want to show how rich is the JPEG the e-410 is giving me. It's a matter of making the shot fit within the DR of the camera, and you can get a rich JPEG. At first I was shooting raw+ jpeg, as I was doing something new to an extent.. but found out that the RAWs were really not buying me anything. Pretty much what was burned in jpeg was burned in raw. Either I got the shot or I didn't. At that point I switched to jpeg.

I also found that the smoothing noise filter of the e-410 works wonders for portraiture, and using standard or even high settings works great.
