Don't know if you guys saw it, but I was alerted by a coworker 50 minutes before it started.
I have about 2-3 more shots to put up, but I thought these were cool.

I learned that you really need to shoot the moon faster than 1/2 a second because else it blurs. The moon moves fast! :-) Also the super high contrast between the dark and the light area... that's why you see some shots exposed for the dark, to get the famous lunar-eclipse red...
So here's another portrait shot of my ex. This was taken at the same time of the other one but hadn't uploaded it yet. I definitively did a high key shot here.. I should try low key, but this one was more on purpose: I had him hold the white diffuser behind his heads with both hands to give the white background.
Shot is 100% out of the camera, e-410, hand held, 50mm F2.0 macro lens (100mm in 35mm equiv).
I plan to go out this weekend and take some shots. In particular I need to take the same landscape with "tentacles" shot I did earlier two months ago in high noon... my teacher says the shadows don't quite disappear.. I say they will quite do.. we'll see :-)
I took this shot with my e-410 using the "live view" feature of Olympus... framing the shot through the LCD. I still had to crop as I didn't have a lens with me to frame it completely (or maybe I forgot to "zoom in" as a appropriate). This was shot with the kit lens tele photo lens. Other than the slight crop, it's shot out of the camera...
This is one of those shots where I cropped after the fact. I still like what I captured though. More evidence that the shadow world exists! :-P :-) Other than the cropping, yup, this is out of the camera... My God, I really had a hard time cropping this in a way I was satisfied...
