Well I decided to go to Arizona this long weekend. There were several reasons. One of them is to meet face to face a guy I have talked a bit with. Nothing serious, just friends. That didn't happen (there are so many flakes on the net, but he's still out of the flake- label- for now). The other was to do photography. Originally I was going to drive all the way to Sedona but upon seeing the Grand Canyon sign... 80 miles away, I got excited and drove north to "meet it." I will post a long story later, as it's interesting, both on the human-social interaction, Ricardo-storywise and photographic wise, but let's say I arrived at 2:00 am and I was crazy enough to attempt to photograph a place I have never been where I wasn't sure if a Big Coyote would decide to eat me or what other mountain lion AD&D(R) "two claws/one bite" six or eight sided hit dice monster would find me an apetizing midnight snack.
I stayed until the morning. It was amazing to see the whole place become packed, but all of that I will cover in my long story when I feel more rested. I am right now in Sedona. I have to say this place is AAAAAMMMMAAAZING.. and I intend to take pictures tomorrow of it. And tomorrow an 8 hour drive back home :-\
Here are two shots for now:
